7 Biblical Prayers Every Parent Should Say For Their Child

How often do you pray for your kids?

"Well...I pray with my child every night before he goes to bed, and before I go to bed. We also pray as a family at most meal times."However, we should be interceding for our children; going in and really praying FOR our children in the throne room of the Father Himself. Truth time: Going to Him and interceding on behalf of my children should take higher priority in THIS mama's heart. I have to remember and remind myself...God wants to give us things... but He does ask for one thing... 7 Biblical Prayers Every Parent Should Say For Their Child Christ Centered Mama Christian Parenting Biblical Prayers For Your Child #biblical #prayer #christianparenting

TO THOSE WHO ASK HIM

What is it that Jesus says that God requires of us?Check out Matthew Chapter 7.God loves your children. He wants good things for them! Jesus, sitting on a hillside in Jerusalem, described prayer as simply asking our Father. He compares our relationship to God to that of a child asking his earthly father for bread. “Which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will you give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things TO THOSE WHO ASK HIM” (Matthew 7:10-11). WOW! Those last five words are a doozy! To those who ask Him. Will you ask God for a miracle in your child?

HE'S WORTHY OF PRAISE

When Jesus gave his example for prayer, it started with praise “Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done...” so I started each prayer with a praise related to an aspect of God that is relatable to each prayer item.I created this list so that you could pray one for each day of the week. Consider printing this list out and putting it by your bedside table. (I provide a free printable later in this post!)
