Kid's Summer Scripture Memorization Challenge

It's almost June which means summer is here for almost all school districts! The days are longer, the nights are warmer, the pool toys are out, and the kids are crazy! As the mom, you might be looking at this time to rest, relax, and connect with your children. Or just keep your head above water (or the pool-water! ;) )Summer break can be a bittersweet time. Kids really thrive on schedule and structure (even though many protest that they do NOT enjoy it!), so when that's taken away some kids might flounder a bit or loose their place academically. There's lots of information provided by your children's teachers on how to be ready for next year's academic challenges, but I've found that families sometimes want to do the same with their children's spiritual lives but just aren't sure where to start.12 Week Scripture Memorization Challenge Christ Centered Mama Christian Parenting Prayer and Bible Memorization Challenge Bible Bee

Week 5:

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Week 6:

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:16–18)

Week 7:

By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another. (John 13:35)

Week 8:

Week 9:

Cast all your worries on Him because He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7)

Week 10:

Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)

Week 12:

You dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. (1 John 4:4)
